Summer Schools

Summer Schools

Two summer schools are organised in BET-EU. These events target particularly at students from research organizations and universities, although they also bring interesting new knowledge to more experienced researchers, industry members and other stakeholders.

The first summer school on "Printed Electronics: Boosting Innovation for New Materials to Various Applications" took place on 24 May 2017 in Strasbourg, France, as a satellite event of the EMR-S Spring 2017 annual meeting of the European Materials Research Society. It was co-organised with the European Institute of Innovation & Technology and its EIT RawMaterials initiative, and received 38 participants, mainly members of the printed electronics value chain, from researchers to manufacturers. Conclusions from this event are downloadable for free in the "Resources" section of this website in under project outputs

Details on the second summer school to take place in 2018 (dates, venue, registration and participation) will be published in this dedicated area of the BET-EU website. The event will also be announced in the website´s “News” section. Stay tuned!

Among others, the summer schools will:

  • Bring state-of-the-art, first-hand knowledge from renowned experts in the fields relevant for printed electronics
  • Allow establishing contacts with researchers, industry members and others linked to printed electronics
